From Imposter to Impact: The Story Behind the Movement
How one revelation about misalignment vs. imposter syndrome sparked a movement that's transforming how Christian women approach business and calling.

Rev. Dr. Tasha Brown
Rev. Dr. Tasha M. Brown didn't set out to become an entrepreneur midwife. But after 20+ years in ministry, helping 300+ businesses, and surviving her own corporate battles, she discovered something that changed everything. The women coming to her weren't suffering from "imposter syndrome." They were suffering from misalignment.

A Calling Born from Experience

As an ordained minister for over 20 years, Dr. Tasha understood calling. As a business strategist who'd helped 300+ ventures launch and scale, she understood strategy. But as a Black woman who'd navigated corporate spaces and entrepreneurial challenges, she understood the unique exhaustion of proving yourself daily while knowing you were meant for more. The combination of her theological training, business expertise, and lived experience positioned her uniquely to help Christian women navigate the sacred intersection of faith and entrepreneurship.

The Revelation That Started It All:
"I was watching Secretariat," Dr. Tasha recalls, "and I started crying. Not because of the race, but because of the revelation: This horse was a champion who had HIS race to win." That moment birthed the breakthrough that would transform hundreds of women's lives: You're not an imposter. You're just running someone else's race.

About Purple Ladies Group
More Than a Business Group. We Are a Movement.
Vision
Purple Ladies Group was born from a simple but profound realization:
Christian women entrepreneurs needed more than business strategy. They needed identity restoration.
After witnessing countless accomplished women shrink themselves,
question their competence, and exhaust themselves trying to fit into spaces not designed for their success, Dr. Tasha knew something had to change.

PLG became the sanctuary and strategy center for women ready to:
-
Stop running someone else's race and start running their own
-
Discover whether they need to GROW where they are or GO where they're called
-
Build businesses that honor their calling (for those transitioning)
-
Evolve into their next level (for those staying and growing)
-
Transform workplace dynamics or transition to entrepreneurship with faith and wisdom
